Working From Photographs

I prefer taking photographs of your pet as I can get to know their personality, expressions and capture the right look on camera, but if you would prefer I can work to your own high quality digital photographs.  Photographs must be clear, large and the eyes must be sharp and captured perfectly.  Eyes after all are the window to the soul and I always start painting them before moving on to the rest of the face and body.  I like to see up to three pictures to decide what will work best.  Once you have agreed on the photographs e-mail them to fiona@thepawtraitgallery.co.uk and I will contact you to discuss your commission.

1 - 6 Weeks

Depending on the size of your portrait and the medium used, they can take 1 to 6 weeks to complete.  If you are requesting a portrait for a Birthday or celebratory gift then please ask well in advance.  I will do everything to accommodate clients in the shortest possible time, but it's important for me to provide the best quality work possible for every client.
